The future of the Wellington town hall in Prince Edward County has been on the minds of residents for several weeks and talks continued at the council meeting Tuesday night. Engineering assessments have been done with the resulting report being sobering news to council. It is estimated that repair of the building will cost upwards of $700,000.00. As a result, the Committee of the Whole voted to establish a working group to seek Expression of Interest from groups or individuals who might be interested in taking on the renovations.
