Concordia University support workers have approved an agreement in principle that would protect their right to hybrid work.
The new agreement gives academic workers, including advisors, the right to work 30 per cent of the week remotely. The university had mandated they work remotely only one day a week, down from two previously.
Union president Shoshana Kalfon says roughly 500 workers approved the agreement by 91 per cent in a vote on Wednesday.
This comes after a seven-day strike of CUPEU’s 600-person membership.
