The Cobourg Legion Minor Softball Organization is in desperate need of new board members. Currently four volunteers serve on the board, organizing the minor leagues, player sign up and tournament hosting.
Stephanie Johnston, Chair of the Cobourg Legion Minor Softball Organization says the amount of work involved in operating softball is leading to burnout. She says a call for interest has led to four more people stepping forward, with a meeting scheduled for tomorrow night. Without new Board members the organization may have to discontinue offering house league softball and the group may fold all together.
