The suggestion by Russell Township Coun. Mike Tarnowski to limit Question Period after council meetings has been met with some opposition. A flyer was distributed to Township residents last week and prompted a reply by way of media release from the Township. The meeting to vote on it is Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.
The annual compliance report for the Capital Region Resource Recovery Centre (CRRRC) for the year 2022-2023 was recently posted at CRRRC.ca. The brief report stated that construction had started because dirt has been moved for erosion control and indirectly implied that the leachate problem has not yet been agreed upon by the City of Ottawa.
