Ottawa Police have released a short video clip and still image of the car they believe was used by the killers of Metcalfe resident Dale Lusk, who was stabbed near his home in Metcalfe a month ago and died two weeks later. Sgt. Chris O’Brien, lead investigator, says someone knows whose car this is. A link to the photo and video is here.
In other news — another Ottawa stabbing resulted in an arrest on Highway 417 near the Casselman exit, about 60 km east of Ottawa. Ottawa police praised the actions of bystanders who comforted the woman as she died, ran to take her children to safety, and got photos of the car and license number. And the Prescott Russell residence, a long-term care home serving Eastern Ontario, is nearly complete. It will be 109,000 square feet larger with 78 more beds than the existing facility.
