The City of Corner Brook is running out of Industrial Park space, according to the mayor.
The city had a system where land on Lundrigan Drive was available under a Request for Proposal, says Mayor Jim Parsons, when land was available at $32 an acre.
Parsons says they knew they were getting low on land available on Lundrigan Drive and decided to put out a request for proposal to develop the 6-8 parcels left. He says the plan is to develop more industrial lots; there is land in the Watson’s Pond area but with limited services, such as water.
