As the holiday season draws nearer, Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue say the time of year often creates unique fire hazards.
They note while there is no increase in service calls during the holiday months to note of yet, the risks are there.
CICW spoke with Fire Prevention Officer Christopher Paluch, who cautions residents of many hazards that are specific to the season, including the dangers of LED lights, and live Christmas trees.
