While the BC Bird Trail has started celebrating its 5th anniversary, Oceanside birder Bonnie Mullin is encouraging people to continue to get out into nature and look for birds.
Mullin says while many birds migrate to warmer locations during the winter, there are still many interesting birds to look out for in the Oceanside area.
Even with the temperature dropping and the sun setting earlier in the day, this does not stop Mullin from getting out to nature and looking for birds.
Mullin met with CHLY at her favourite birding spot at French Creek Marina where French Creek meets the ocean to speak about her enjoyment of birding and the work she does to advocate for the local diversity.
