Mimi O’Bonsawin, an Indigenous singer songwriter from the Greater Sudbury area, has been nominated for the 2024 Capital Music Awards (CMA) once again and her live album is set to release in the coming week.
The album Willow, previously released in March 2023, was performed live and recorded to add a new energy for a live album release. With Willow being nominated for “Songwriter of the Year,” O’Bonsawin is trying to remind her fans how they felt the first time they listened to the album.
