Author and CBU professor of political science Tom Urbaniak has officially released his new children’s book ‘You Are Loved.”
Urbaniak marked the launch of the book with a reading at CBU’s Beaton Institute on Tuesday where he was joined by the book’s illustrator, Tammy Krasniqi.
Urbaniak wrote the novel as a tribute to his late wife, Reverend Alison Etter, which is addressed to their two-year-old son Oliver and recounts her life.
With a packed turnout, Urbaniak shared his thoughts on the support he has received for the book. He’s looking forward to more readings and says the conversations they lead to are helping to carry on Alison’s work.
Urbaniak says all royalties are going to the Reverend Alison Etter Memorial Fund at the Atlantic School of Theology. Another reading is planned in the South Shore and Urbaniak says there will be one in the new year in Baddeck.
