Ottawa’s Bluesfest is coming up in just a matter of weeks — and with this festival comes Juno winning, Canadian and Indigenous band, Blue Moon Marquee.
They won’t be working from a finalized set list, though. That’s because they want to create it in the moment, responding to the vibe of the audience.
Blue Moon Marquee bassist, vocalist and drummer, Badlands Jass, told ELMNT FM that they never expected to get so popular among their fans and community but this popularity won’t change their attitude. Despite winning a Juno for their hit album, Scream, Holler and Howl, the band has made no guarantee that they’ll be playing songs from the album at Bluesfest.
To hear what Badlands Jass has to say about their upcoming performance, listen to the 95.7 ELMNT FM interview with Blue Moon Marquee.
