A fifty-seven-year-old Ontario man has been charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of a 36-year-old man in Little Burnt Bay.
RCMP Corporal Jolene Garland says Ricky Nelson Wareham was arrested Sunday after police responded to the shotting call at around 9:15 p.m. at a home on Maple Street. Garland says the victim’s name is not being released at this time but adds that the deceased and Wareham were known to one another.
RCMP Major Crimes Unit and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are involved in the investigation.
