To meet these escalating needs, the food bank plans to expand its facilities to enhance storage and distribution capabilities. They are also actively recruiting additional volunteers to support their operations, leveraging social media and community networks for outreach.
Financially, Banque alimentaire Memphrémagog depends heavily on donations from individuals and corporations. They aim to secure an additional $200,000 through a forthcoming fundraising campaign to fund their expansion efforts throughout the year. Community members are encouraged to contribute by donating funds or non-perishable items, or by volunteering their time to support the food bank’s mission.
