Heartbeats in Performing Arts internship and co-op is a program designed for Indigenous and Black youth in grades 11 and 12 as a way to mitigate racial discrimination and systemic boundaries.

Though based in the GTA, the organizers have taken extra steps to implement inclusivity by offering virtual mentorship to students who may live further.

The program is guided by a team of both Indigenous and Black arts professionals.
