The City of Abbotsford’s annual water restrictions are again in place until the end of summer.
Nathan Koning, the municipality’s general manager of engineering, told CIVL Radio that he is grateful to Abbotsford residents for following the restrictions, which began May 1.
“I really appreciate and express my gratitude to everyone for doing their part … to help conserve the water supply,” said Koning.
“There are penalties in place if folks are choosing not to follow the restrictions, Koning said, “then we do have a system in place that allows us to provide that extra encouragement.”
