Gitlax̱dax Sayt-K’il̓im G̱oothl Nisg̱a’a dancers get reading for JANT opening ceremonies

Plans are underway for the Nisg̱a’a Nation as they prepare for the Junior All Native Tournament (JANT), and the Gitlax̱dax Sayt-K’il̓im G̱oothl Nisg̱a’a dancers are getting ready for the opening ceremonies, according to Director Lyle Adams.
The dance group is collaborating with other Nisg̱a’a Dance groups and is excited to showcase their songs dances and drumming during the opening ceremonies. The group consists of dancers of all ages, from toddlers to elders, and their main goal is to keep their culture alive and strong.
Adams says that they “are looking forward to this honour of being able to do this for the Junior All Native Tournament, we’re excited and looking forward to that day, and the program were gonna have for the celebration.”
