From busking to the Rivoli — Canada’s Got Talent runner up debuts first EP
Former busker and Canada’s Got Talent finalist debut’s their first EP at the historic Toronto venue The Rivoli.
Sam Pearson, the artist known as MEAVE, will be performing at the Rivoli to debut their first EP on Feb. 22. Pearson while busking was scouted for the last season of Canada’s Got Talent. After finishing in fourth Pearson says they have been working on their debut EP.
Pearson says they have been training and competing musical since they were a child. They say that when they were a child they knew would be perusing music as their career.
“Canada’s got talent was probably the last competition that I’ve been in because I’m just looking more now to showcase stuff rather than competing against other people … I’m really excited to showcase the diversity of the music that I’ve written and that I’ve written with my friends,” says Pearson.
