Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre combines old with new in latest production
The Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre will be performing two new sets of choreography along with remounts of works from previous years.
The new show, Fleeting, will be performed on May 24 and 25. The new works on the program are called ‘Dreamscape’ and ‘So Long So Soon’.
Dreamscape’s choreography was done by Roderick George, a bronze winner of the Youth American Grand Prix and a Presidential Scholar. George has performed with the Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet and Forsythe Company.
So Long So Soon was done by Cherice Barton. Barton has worked as assistant choreography for Spider-Man Turn-Off the Dark and as a creative associate for America’s Got Talent.
