B.C. Conservative leader urges stop to government-funded drugs, backs mandatory treatment
John Rustad, the leader of the British Columbia Conservative Party, says that the BC government’s provision of funded drugs must cease.
In an interview with CIVL, he spoke about a shift towards prioritizing treatment to wean individuals off drugs, potentially necessitating involuntary treatment. Rustad warns that doctors have indicated a critical timeframe of two to three years within which action must be taken to avert an uncontrollable situation.
