Housing Minister Sean Fraser announced on Jan. 29 that Canadian universities and non-profit organizations will be eligible to apply for low costing loans to build student housing.
Fraser says that this policy will benefit the housing crisis as a whole as well as helping students worry less about finding a place to stay during the school year.
