Recently, OPP has confirmed the man who was struck in a tree felling accident south of Embrun died at the scene. A Casselman man was injured on Highway 138, and a train hit a delivery van west of Winchester.
The OPP is also warning the public about vehicle and business thefts.
Outdoor rinks and ski trails are open at last, and the Russell branch of the library is now open for four hours on Sundays.
