It will be another couple of weeks before skiers can take to the hills at Marble Mountain Ski Resort in Steady Brook. General Manager Richard Wells says they just need a little more snow.
Even though season passes cost a little more this year, Wells says their Boxing Day ski pass sale was better than last year’s. The increase in pricing was due to a number of factors, including the enhancement and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, the purchase of an excavator for mountain upgrades, a new state-of-the-art groomer, and lodge decking enhancements. Wells says the Black Mariah Quad chair lift is finally ready to go after being unavailable for the past 4-5 seasons.
