It’s a brand new year but the same mindset for a Fergus Whalers Provincial Junior Hockey League team that looks to build on its success. Boasting a 19-win record in 31 games played, and only having taken five regulation losses, Ryan Black‘s Whalers hope to keep the good times rolling.
Black, the squad’s head coach, told CICW it’s been an all-hands-on-deck effort that’s paved the way to this comfortable spot in the standings.
“Reigniting the fire,” Black says, after the holiday break, is the focus for his team. CICW caught up with Black on the heels of the holidays.
