The Comox Valley Regional District is hosting an information session for residents regarding three upcoming unified Alternative Approval Process (AAP) initiatives. One of these concerns a loan authorization bylaw for an artificial turf field at GP Vanier Secondary school, while two concern housing services operated by the CVRD.
A fourth initiative, which has already been presented concerns the construction of a new fire hall for the Union Bay Fire Protection Service.
The APP session will take place on Thursday, January 9th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the CVRD Main Office, where staff will be on hand to answer relevant questions and provide more information.
The unified AAP period for all four initiatives will run from January 15th to February 18th, during which time eligible electors may register their opposition.
