Naloxhome is a non-profit organization that provides destigmatizing public education services that inform youth throughout British Columbia on how to identify the signs of an overdose and how to effectively use naloxone in the event of an overdose. While they currently are based in the tri-cities area of the Lower Mainland, they have already had other provinces express interest in their services.
CJSF recently sat down for a conversation with the founder and executive director of Naloxhome, Chloe Goodison, who started the organization during her first year of university in 2021. During the interview, we discuss her inspirations for starting Naloxhome, the impact of the organization’s work, as well as the ways in which she hopes that the organization is able to grow beyond BC.
