Tuesday was election day in Nova Scotia – and as many pollsters predicted, Tim Houston and the province’s governing Progressive Conservatives cruised to form another majority government, this time with a “super-majority” of 43 seats.
Although there was no change in government, there was a significant shift across the isle as Claudia Chender’s New Democratic Party secured enough districts to form the province’s official opposition — while it was a night to forget for Zach Churchill and the Liberals.
