The Ol’ Frontier Family Restaurant is gone following a structure fire that broke out early Saturday morning.
The City of Revelstoke said Revelstoke Fire Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire call just after midnight, and released a statement late Saturday morning.
The fire is under investigation but the city says it isn’t being considered suspicious.
Firefighters weren’t able to save the historic restaurant, but they were successful in saving the Fas Gas Station, and the Frontier motel rooms, which the city says sustained some fire damage.
All occupants of the motel rooms were evacuated and Emergency Support Services was on scene to assist displaced guests.
