Curling Street will still have detours and road closures as work continues to replace a retaining wall near the War Memorial.
On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Jim Parsons says there is a delay in this project as a result of unforeseen circumstances, namely rocks, and some things taking extra time. Meanwhile, the next big project to start in Corner Brook is the Deep Gulch Project in the University Drive area. Parsons says it’s estimated to cost about half a million dollars.
