The Navan Fair starts this Thursday night and this year’s event is celebrating the sweet life in more ways than one. Besides hosting rock band Big Sugar at the Friday night rock concert, organizers have also added two new field crop categories–Maple Syrup and Honey.
The fair will also host Robertson’s Midway, Meet the Keepers wildlife rescue, the Saturday morning parade, demolition derbies on Thursday and Saturday nights, and a line-up of entertainment and exhibits, including horticulture, culinary arts, fruits and vegetables, crops, and children’s entries. The Saturday morning parade will, of course, include candies thrown from floats.
