Corner Brook has a new City Manager and he is excited about what the future holds.
Darren Charters assumed the role after the passing of former City Manager Rodney Cumby in the spring, but the announcement was made officially yesterday. Charters has been working with the city since 2017 as the Director of Community Engineering, Development and Planning. He holds a civil engineering degree but admits it’s his quarter of a century experience within the municipal sector that has prepared him for the job. He’s honored to be offered this position and says there is an amazing team at city hall.
