The fifth class of the Cobourg and District Sports Hall of Fame was inducted June 14 at the Best Western.
The CDSHF includes athletes from Cobourg, Hamilton Township, Alnwick-Haldimand Township, Cramahe Township and Alderville First Nation.
This year’s inductees were Jack Bevan, Jim Bradford, Kristen Fawcett-Dajia, Al Fenton, Fran Jay, Larry O’Connor, Art Ravensdale and Dave Waldie. Fawcett-Dajia and Waldie were on hand for their inductions while the others had representatives for the ceremony.
The deadline is Sept. 30 for nominations for the 2025 class, though past applications remain in consideration as well. Details and forms are available on the hall of fame’s website.
