The Peterborough Community Health Centre (PCHC) is one step closer to treating patients. On June 6, it was announced that the PCHC is set to begin operations from a temporary location, inside the Peterborough Square, at 360 George St. N.
The temporary location (which was previously occupied by TD Bank) is expected to last up to 12 months, according to a PCHC media release.
Before PCHC can begin operations, the space needs significant renovations, and the minimum number of staff members for a primary care team need to be hired.
“We hope to have a primary care team functioning in the Fall,” says David Jeffery, one of the interim Co-Directors of PCHC.
