Earlier this week, Shawville resident Emma Judd announced the long-awaited opening of her bed and breakfast. It’s called Circa, located at the corner of Main Street and Campbell Street.
The home is a well-known one in town, having been built in 1898 and housing several doctors over the decades, before sitting empty for quite some time before Judd’s purchase in 2019. She said that currently she’s offering two rooms with queen beds and private bathrooms.
Judd explained that she’s done a lot of the renovation work herself, and plans on finishing another room upstairs by the end of the summer and eventually grow to five rooms total. More information can be found on Circa’s social media.
