The TV series adaptation Cross from James Patterson’s Alex Cross crime novels will film parts of the series’ season two in Six Nations.
The announcement was made during the May 28 general council meeting: the series’ location manager Geoff Smither detailed the request to film at the Styres Gas Station, located at 1987 Chiefswood Rd., from June 10-11.
Smither says the filming will require intermittent traffic stops that will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the two days of filming.
Six Nations Elected Council says the filming will take place during the Chiefs of Ontario Annual Chiefs Assembly and an increased number of visitors will be on the territory for those days. But the council does not believe the conflict will cause major impacts.
Council gave approval for the TV series to film despite the conflicting dates; notice will be provided to the community on the filming process and traffic interruptions.
