Kin Canada President Amanda Naughton-Gale and District 6 Governor Ed Newbery visited the Russell Kin Club recently.
The two leaders sat down with CJRO reporter Candice Vetter in the studio of Russell Kin executive members Doug Anthony and Cindy Anthony.
Naughton-Gale and Newbery had high praise for the local club, noting that it was probably #1 in fundraising in its district, and that it had started many best practices which have been able to be adapted to other clubs. They were particularly impressed by how the Russell club collaborates with other organizations in the area.
They were also just in time to participate in the opening of the annual Poutmasters Fishing Derby on the Castor River.
