Following last week’s Grenfell Campus Nursing School graduation ceremony, Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says he was thrilled to learn that 55 percent of the new nurses have accepted jobs locally, with NL Health Services-western zone.
The mayor says young, educated, professionals look for certain things when they choose a place to live and work and that they want facilities like a recreation centre, ball field, and ice rink.
