Gudie Hutchings, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Rural Economic Development Minister and the MP for Long Range Mountains, believes the 2024 federal budget is great news for the riding.
Hutchings says the budget is “focused on helping folks with the costs of daily living building homes and growing the economy to create more jobs.” CKVB spoke with Hutchings on small craft harbours receiving funding for repairs, expanded student loan forgiveness and “innovative housing solutions and the Artificial Intelligence adaptation in farming, agriculture and manufacturing.”
