Media workers staged a protest outside the National Film Board (NFB)’s headquarters in Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles on Apr. 11, a week after the NFB laid off around 55 workers across the country. Two thirds of the layoffs were in Montreal.
CKUT was on hand to speak to NFB workers, and was joined by NFB spokesperson Lily Robert via phone.
