Quick action by the Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue team overnight helped rescue two men.
The men were riding an ATV when they got stuck in the woods in back of Lundrigan Drive in Corner Brook. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary called in the Bay of Islands Search and Rescue (BOISAR) team to help since roads were inaccessible around 11:45 p.m. – the men were safely located around 2 a.m. this morning.
Team members also retrieved the ATV with the use of an Argo 4×4. CKVB news spoke with BOISAR’s Shawn Street about last night’s call.
