Council is looking to introduce a new community grant policy for Loyalist Township. Staff have developed a grant framework and discussed the new policy at a council meeting this week.
According to staff’s report, the grant framework is designed to provide various funding categories, and outline eligibility, application processes, and approval authority. The new policy aims to help ensure efficiency and a grant program that sees the township collaborating with groups that offer beneficial programs, services, or projects to the community.
If approved, staff will use the framework to develop a final community grant policy for council’s consideration.
