As the first information session of its kind, the upcoming Tri-County Green Development Standards aims to offer Wellington County residents the chance to learn.
These standards include things like active transportation and development policies. The partnership is between the counties of Wellington, Grey and Dufferin.
Karen Chisholme, Wellington County’s Climate Change and Sustainability Manager, says she’s excited to learn the wants and needs of the community when sharing this information for the first time.
The event will take place at the Aboyne Hall at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Monday, March 25, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
CICW talked with Chisholme to learn more about Green Development Standards, and what’s in store for those planning to attend.
