More than 30 companies and 10 prospectors from Newfoundland and Labrador attended this year’s Prospectors and Developers Association Conference 2024 in Toronto.
The annual event is the World’s Premier Mineral Exploration & Mining Convention that connects people to mineral exploration; a NL delegation has been attending this conference for decades. The Prospectors and Developers Association Conference attracts 30,000 attendees from over 130 countries. NL Industry Minister Andrew Parsons attended the event and CKVB News spoke with him about the trip.
Other stories in this CKVB Newscast: a contract for travel nurses in the western zone has expired and won’t be renewed, part time instructors at Grenfell Campus are set to strike, and applications are now being accepted for the Big Game draw.
