This year on International Women’s Day (IWD) in Elora, the Grandway Events Centre will be hosting a conversation between their VP, who recently battled cancer, and her best friend.
VP Katie Giddy and Sally Litchfield will be hosting the IWD lunch, hoping to look at the crucial women who helped support Katie through tough times.
“Like a caterpillar out of a chrysalis,” Giddy hopes to encourage other women to embrace change and come out the other side stronger, whatever that change in their life might be.
Giddy says the lunch, taking place 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at the Grandway, is very much about community.
