The Cobourg and District Sports Hall of Fame announced its 2024 inductees Sunday at the Baltimore Recreation Centre in Hamilton Township, just north of Cobourg.
This year’s inductees are Jack Bevan, Jim Bradford, Kristen Fawcett-Dajia, Al Fenton, Fran Jay, Larry O’Connor, Art Ravensdale and Dave Waldie.
It was the first time the announcement was made outside of Cobourg in one of the catchment area locations, which are Hamilton Township, Alnwick/Haldimand Township, Cramahe Township and Alderville First Nation.
This year’s class will receive their certificates at the induction ceremony. The induction dinner will be held June 14 at the Best Western in Cobourg.
